Day 1:
Morning arrival in South Africa. Our representative will be at the airport to meet you and
hand over your travel documents (Vouchers). Collect your hired car at the Budget or First Car Rentals office at
Johannesburg's O R Tambo International Airport. Depart to Pretoria for a city tour that includes
the Voortrekker Monument, Paul Kruger House, Church Square and Union Buildings. Overnight
in or near Johannesburg or the Jacaranda City of Pretoria. Our recommended restaurant - Carnivore Restaurant
at the Misty Hills Hotel.

Day 2:
Return to O R Tambo International Airport, return your rental car. Catch your flight to Windhoek the capital of Namibia,
a charming city with a blend of African and European cultures. Collect your Budget, First Car or 4 x 4 camping / camper rental at the airport before
exploring the capital,
much of the architecture reflects on the German influence. Our recommended restaurant is the famous Joe's Beerhouse restaurant.
Overnight in Windhoek.

Day 3 & 4:
Travel south to the small town of Keetmanshoop, visit the Kokerboom Forest and "Giant's Play Ground" on route.
Overnight in Keetmanshoop. The next day you get to visit the Fish River Canyon, which is the second largest of
its kind in the world. After visiting the viewpoints and exploring the lip of the canyon, you return to Keetmanshoop
for the night.

Day 5 & 6:
Leaving the canyon behind, you continue north into the true Namib Desert, with its continually shifting barchans'
dunes, barren landscape and an awe-inspiring sense of space. Watch a dramatic sunrise over the world's largest dunes,
then walk the awesome Sossusvlei dunes, visit Dead Valley and explore Sesriem Canyon.

Day 7, 8 & 9:
Travel via the Kuiseb Canyon and Walvis Bay to Swakopmund a coastal town surrounded by lunar landscapes
and the prehistoric Welwitchia plants. Enjoy the next couple of days at leisure to explore the town,
with its beautiful beaches, markets, curio shops and huge variety of optional activities,
such as golf, camel rides, fishing, desert tours, flights and day tours to - Cape Cross,
Welwitschia Mirabilis, Moon Landscape, Sandwich Harbour and seal colonies. Dinners can
be enjoyed at a number of good restaurants in town. Spend the next 3 x nights in Swakopmund.

Day 10:
Travel to the Etosha National Park, one of the famous parks of Southern Africa. Visit the "Dinosaur Footprints" on route.
Spend the rest of the afternoon in the park. Overnight in the park.

Day 11:
Spend the day in Etosha in search of black rhino, lion, elephant,
leopard and a host of other animals. Overnight in the park

Day 12:
Depart after breakfast from Etosha via Namutoni Gate, visit Lake Otjikoto outside Tsumeb.
Enjoy an interesting visit to the very unique Hoba Meteorite. Return to Winhoek for the night.

It is off to Rundu in Kavango land, overnight on the Angola border.

Day 13 & 14:
Drop-off your hire vehicle at the Windhoek Airport, before catching your
connecting flight back to O R Tambo in Johannesburg for your flight home.

Set off after breakfast for Kasane / Chobe, where you will have the next 3 days to relax and explore the beauty of Chobe
- Botswana, an area that is home to Africa's largest concentration of elephant.
There are daily safaris and boat cruises that depart from the various lodges
to the Chobe National Park. Overnight at Kasane - Botswana
Optional Activities:
- Morning - Open vehicle safari - Chobe National Park.
- Afternoon - Sunset cruise down the Chobe River.
- Afternoon - Open vehicle safari - Chobe National Park.
- Tiger fishing on the Chobe River
- Scenic flights over the Okavango Delta

Day 15:
Join an escorted tour for the day - cross the border at Kazungula to Zimbabwe for a visit to one of the natural
wonders of the world and there is no finer place to immerse yourself in the majesty of the Victoria Falls.
Enjoy lunch at the Victoria Falls hotel, before returning to Kasane for the night.

Day 16:
Leisurely morning in Kasane before visiting a unique border post, on a river cruise to the confluence
of the Chobe & Zambezi Rivers. This is the "only place in the world where 4 countries meet", namely
Botswana, Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabwe. After lunch, you travel to Nata for the night.
Accommodation:
Day 17 & 18:
Travel back to South Africa to Madikwe on the Botswana border, the third largest game reserve
in South Africa. Arrive in time for lunch and an evening game drive. Explore the African bush,
in search of the "Big 5" and a host of other animals. This reserve is also well known for its
cheetah and Cape wild dog populations. Overnight in Madikwe Game Reserve.

A long day of travel back to South Africa to Pilanesberg National Park, the fourth
largest game reserve in South Africa. Explore the African bush, in search of the "Big 5"
and a host of other animals. Overnight in Pilanesberg National Park.
Accommodation:

Day 19:
Enjoy a relaxing morning before driving back to Johannesburg, the commercial hub of South Africa,
drop-off your hired car at the Budget or First Car Rentals office at O R Tambo International Airport.
There will be time for some last minute shopping before your departure.
- Optional activities: Township tour of Soweto, with an accredited guide.

Recommended - Cape Town add-on tour:
Catch a direct flight to Cape Town from Johannesburg. Collect your car at
the Budget or First Car Rentals office at Cape Town Airport. Check-in at your accommodation. We recommend
that you do an orientation tour of South Africa's beautiful Mother City.
Visit the Castle of Good Hope, Parade Ground, City Hall, Houses of Parliament,
Tuinhuis and the Dutch East India Company Gardens, these gardens became known
to early travellers as "the noblest and most beautiful curiosity in Africa".
Overnight in Cape Town. Our recommended restaurant - Mamma Africa
Accommodation:

Day 20:
Take a scenic drive around the Cape of Good Hope. Visit Hout Bay and the Cape Fur Seal colony on Duiker
Island, Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, Cape Point, Boulders - Penguins and Kirstenbosch National
Botanical Gardens. Lunch along the way. Weather permitting - take the cableway up Table Mountain.
Overnight in Cape Town. Our recommended restaurant - Hildebrand on the V & A Waterfront.

Day 21:
Visit the Cape's world-renowned Stellenbosch wine route, also spend some time in the historical towns
of Stellenbosch and Franschhoek. Overnight in Cape Town. Our recommended
restaurant - Five Flies in Cape Town.

Day 22:
Morning at leisure or you could visit Robben Island, the place where Mr. Nelson Mandela was imprisoned
for 18 years. Lunch at the V & A Waterfront, time for last minute shopping. Return to Cape Town International
Airport and drop-off the hired car at the Budget or First Car Rentals office at the airport. Catch your flight home.
