• The award-winning Hilltop Camp on the summit of a forested hill offers fine views of the surrounding countryside. Hilltop is the main camp in the Hluhluwe Umfolozi Park, The Mpunyane Restaurant and the Uzavolo bar at Hilltop Camp cater for those who do not wish to self-cater. Hilltop camp has a rustic thatch design, which tastefully compliments the natural surroundings, and being at a high altitude, is cooler than most other areas of the reserve. At the main building, there is a wonderful panoramic view of the surrounding areas, and is a wonderful place to try and spot the eagles and vultures of the reserve in flight.
