Day 1:
Morning arrival at South Africa's Cape Town International Airport. Our representative
will be at the airport to meet you and hand over your travel documents (Vouchers).
Collect your car at the Avis or Europcar office at Cape Town Airport. Depending on the time of
your arrival - you can either check-in at your accommodation before or after you
orientate yourself with a drive around the city centre of South Africa's beautiful
Mother City. Visit the Castle of Good Hope, Parade Ground, City Hall, Houses of
Parliament, Tuinhuis and the Dutch East India Company Gardens, these gardens
became known to early travellers as "the noblest and most beautiful curiosity in Africa".
Overnight in Cape Town. Our recommended restaurant - Mamma Africa.

Day 2:
Take a scenic drive around the Cape of Good Hope. Visit Hout Bay and the Cape
Fur Seal colony on Duiker Island, Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, Cape Point,
Boulders - Penguins and Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens. Weather permitting
- take the cableway up Table Mountain. Overnight in Cape Town. Our recommended restaurant
- Hildebrand on the V & A Waterfront.

Day 3:
Visit Robben Island, before having lunch at the V & A Waterfront. Afternoon and
evening at leisure in Cape Town. Overnight in Cape Town.

Day 4:
Visit the Cape's world-renowned Stellenbosch wine route, also spend some time
in the historical towns of Stellenbosch and Franschhoek. Overnight in Cape Town.

Day 5:
Travel to Mossel Bay via Hermanus, which is known in season for its excellent
whale watching, visit Cape Agulhas, the most southern point of the African continent.
Overnight in Mossel Bay. Our recommended restaurant - Gannet in Mossel Bay.
Accommodation:
Day 6:
Visit the Diaz Museum in Mossel Bay before departing for Knysna. Take the ferry
across the lagoon to the Featherbed Nature Reserve, 4 x 4 trailer-ride tour and
hike through the reserve. Evening of leisure. Overnight in Knysna.
Accommodation:
Day 7:
Travel along the Garden Route, visit the "Big Tree" and the Storms River mouth
in the Tsitsikamma National Park. Lunch during the Woodcutter's Journey, which
is a pleasant and comfortable guided tractor / trailer-ride through the Tsitsikamma Forest.
Return to Knysna, the rest of the afternoon and evening of leisure. Overnight in Knysna.

Day 8:
Travel via the Outeniqua Pass to Oudtshoorn in the Klein Karoo (semi desert area),
a 60km drive that reflects the great diversities of nature South Africa has to offer.
Visit Cango Caves, Cango Wildlife Ranch and Safari Ostrich Farm for lunch, also learn
everything and more than you might want to know about ostriches. Overnight in Knysna.

Day 9:
Day at leisure, time to relax and enjoy what Knysna has to offer, this is a good
place to do some shopping. Overnight in Knysna. Our recommended
restaurant - Dry Dock in Knysna on the waterfront.

Day 10:
After a leisurely morning, drive to George Airport to catch your connecting flight
to Cape Town or Johannesburg for your flight home. Drop-off your hired car at the
Avis or Europcar office at George Airport.

Drive to George Airport, drop-off your hired car at the Avis or Europcar office at George
Airport before catching an early morning flight to Johannesburg's O R Tambo International Airport
(We recommend you book your flight as early as possible).
Collect your hired car at the Avis or Europcar office at O R Tambo International Airport . Travel via Middelburg, Lydenburg and the scenic
Long Tom Pass to Hazyview situated in the province of Mpumalanga, meaning
"the land of the rising sun". Depending on time and availability - you could
enjoy an evening of African culture with singing, dancing and dinner at Shangana,
a traditional Shangaan Village, meet the chief with his 3 wives and 36 children.
Overnight in Hazyview.

Day 11:
Visit the picturesque little town of Graskop, an excellent place to do some shopping.
Travel the Panorama Route of the majestic Drakensberg Mountains, admire the natural
beauty of God's Window, Bourke`s Luck Potholes and the Blyde River Canyon - third
deepest canyon in the world. Then it is off to the Kruger National Park (KNP), enter
the park through Orpen Gate. Overnight in the park.

Day 12:
Enjoy a full day in the KNP in search of the "Big 5" and a host of other animals.
The KNP is known to be the most diverse park in the world with 140 mammals,
119 reptiles, ± 506 bird, 55 amphibians and ± 1980 plant species. Overnight
at one of the camps in the southern section of the park.
- Optional activities: Open vehicle sunset drive - with game ranger.

Day 13:
Spend the morning in the KNP, travel to Johannesburg, the commercial hub of South Africa,
drop-off hired car at the Avis or Europcar office at O R Tambo International Airport before you
to catch your flight home.
