Day 1:
Morning arrival in South Africa. Our representative will be at the airport to meet you and hand over your travel documents
(Vouchers). Collect your hired car at the Budget or First Car rentals office at O R Tambo International Airport. Visit
"The Cradle of Humankind - Sterkfontein Caves", a World Heritage Site - for a guided tour through the evolution of man.
Overnight in Johannesburg or the Jacaranda City of Pretoria.

Day 2:
Travel via Middelburg and Lydenburg to the province of Mpumalanga and the "Panorama Route" of the majestic Drakensberg
Mountains, admire the natural beauty of the Blyde River Canyon - third deepest canyon in the world, Bourke's Luck
Potholes and God's Window. Overnight near Hazyview.

Day 3:
Today is spent in the Kruger National Park, 20 000 km˛ of pristine African bush, in search of the "Big 5"
and a host of other animals. Overnight near Hazyview.

Day 4:
Free to relax or try a new adventure: river rafting on Lower Sabie River (depending on local conditions),
'kloofing' or canyoning down river over waterfalls & cliffs or exploring the bush on a 4WD quad bike or
"tree topping". This evening if local conditions permit, you may like to visit Shangana traditional
village to learn about the life, customs and traditions of the Shangaan people, visit the local
healer and watch their singing and dancing while sharing a traditional feast in typical huts.

Day 5:
Visit Moholoholo Animal Rehabilitaion Centre dedicated to the conservation of endangered species
& rehabilitation of injured and orphaned wildlife and then the Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre
(Kapama Cheetah Breeding & Research Centre). Overnight in the Karongwe private game reserve roamed
by the "Big Five": lion, leopard, elephant, rhino & buffalo.

Day 6:
After an early morning game drive in an open vehicle in the reserve, you depart for the world-renowned
Kruger National Park (KNP), enter the park through Phalaborwa Gate, spend the rest of the day in the KNP.

Day 7:
Enjoy a full day traveling north through the KNP. The KNP is known to be the most diverse park in the world with
140 mammals, 119 reptiles, ± 506 bird, 55 amphibians and ± 1980 plant species. Overnight in the KNP.

Day 8:
Still in the far northern reaches of the KNP, you can do a guided tour on foot with the parks ranger
to the Thulamela Ruins, former seat of wicked King Ingwe and beautiful Queen Losha, visit Crook's
Corner on the border between South Africa, Zimbabwe and Mozambique. Overnight in the park.

Day 9:
Depart from the park via Punda Maria Gate. Travel to Tzaneen, visit Modjadji Cycad Forest Reserve, see the oldest
and largest baobab tree in the world - with a pub inside its trunk!!, and visit Sapeco Tea Estate, lunch on the
estate at the Pekoe View Tea Garden. Overnight in the beautiful Magoebaskloof Valley.

Day 10:
Travel to Warmbaths (Bela Bela) via Pietersburg (Polokwane), on route visit Bakone Malapa,
a Northern Sotho living museum and then "Elephant Back Safaris" for an elephant interaction
with these amazing creatures and / or an elephant back ride. Overnight in or near Warmbaths (Bela Bela).

Day 11:
After a leisurely morning you drive back to Johannesburg the commercial hub of South Africa. There will be time for last minute
shopping. Drop-off your hired vehicle at Budget or First Car Rentals office at O R Tambo International Airport. Depart for home.
- Optional activity: We can organize for you a guided township tour of Soweto,
where you visit the very moving Hector Pieterson Museum and Nelson Mandela's House - reflect
on the "Apartheid" era of South Africa's history.

Catch a connecting flight to Cape Town. Collect your car at the Budget or First Car
Rentals office at Cape Town Airport. Check-in at your accommodation. We recommend
that you do an orientation tour of South Africa's beautiful Mother City. Visit the
Castle of Good Hope, Parade Ground, City Hall, Houses of Parliament, Tuinhuis and
the Dutch East India Company Gardens, these gardens became known to early travellers
as "the noblest and most beautiful curiosity in Africa". Overnight in Cape Town. Our recommended restaurant - Mamma Africa.

Day 12:
Take a scenic drive around the Cape of Good Hope. Visit Hout Bay and the Cape Fur Seal colony on Duiker
Island, Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, Cape Point, Boulders - Penguins and Kirstenbosch National
Botanical Gardens. Lunch along the way. Weather permitting - take the cableway up Table Mountain.
Overnight in Cape Town. Our recommended restaurant - Hildebrand on the V & A Waterfront.

Day 13:
Visit the Cape's world-renowned Stellenbosch wine route, also spend some time in the historical towns
of Stellenbosch and Franschhoek. Overnight in Cape Town. Our recommended

Day 14:
Morning at leisure or you could visit Robben Island, the place where Mr. Nelson Mandela was imprisoned
for 17 years. Lunch at the V & A Waterfront, time for last minute shopping. Return to Cape Town International
Airport and drop-off the hired car at the Budget or First Car Rentals office at the airport. Catch your flight home.
